Founded in 2015 as a spin-off of a well-established German ship management company, K17 Consulting has quickly grown into a well-known and meanwhile fully independent maritime consultancy company.
Our experienced team has gained extensive knowledge in the field of ship management, operational cost control and accounting while working for different major ship management companies before joining K17 Consulting GmbH.
Our staff consists of experienced Marine Engineers, Master Mariners, Naval Architects, Accountants and Tax Auditors and has worked in leading positions in the maritime industry onboard and ashore before joining K17 Consulting GmbH, for example as Technical Director, Newbuilding Director, Director Finance and Head of Quality Department in leading ship management companies.
By combining experiences which our team has gained both onboard and ashore, we are able to provide a “full picture” of all areas of ship management including a strong focus on costs and operational expenses.
Our customers are mainly Banks, Insolvency Administrators and non-operating Owners. We also work for a growing number of Shipmanagers, who have contracted us for a third-party opinion or for case-by-case consultancy services.
